Engraved Lettering

Headstone inscriptions are sandblasted onto our black granite headstones and can be applied in your choice of font, size and placement.

We have no character limit but recommend the inscription is kept to 120 characters on a small stone and 150 characters on a large stone.

Too many characters in relation to the size of the stone will cause the lettering to be reduced in size and may not appear clearly when sandblasted. We will advise you if this is likely to be the case.  

Engraving Headstones and Memorials

It is possible for any font to be engraved onto the stone, including languages that use characters that differ to the English alphabet (e.g. Chinese characters, Cyrillic characters). Once you have approved the design, your order will be ready for installation in one month's time.
